Our Christmas!

Christmas was wonderful. We were able to go to Nick's Grandparents (Papa and Meme) on Christmas Eve and have the traditional lasagna. We then opened lots of presents and got very spoiled. Nolan was most excited about the crinkley and sparkley wrapping paper. He played with it for quite some time and was very content. The first picture above is of Meme and Cousin Mandi, and the last picture here is of Auntie Krissy, Nana, and Cousin Courtney.

On Christmas morning we hurried over to Mom and Dad's house in Ontario. It was crazy weather the night before, so we left early just in case it took us a super ling time. The roads thankfully weren't too bad, and we got there very safely. My brother Tyson and Doug on the other hand got stuck in the snow when they went to feed the cows (hehe). We were also very spoiled at my parents house. It was very fun, and Nolan was able to spend lots of quality time with his cousins!!! We also had some great food!

Here we see Uncle Dougie holding Cousin Brooklan!!!

Here's Auntie Tiffy and Uncle Rob holding the cute Little Miss Brooklan, and Little Miss Rylee Jae

Here's our family just hagin' out!

Uncle Ken just loves the kids. Can you tell?

Here's a picture of my dad taking the tracktor to get Tyson and Doug out of the snow.

Here we see kissing cousins Nolan and Brooklan. Too cute!!!

Later that night, we came home and opened presents with Nick's sister Chelsea and Mom and Chelsea's boy friend Christian. It was lots of fun. Nick's mom got a camera, and I think she was very surprised. I think she loved it though.

Here's Auntie Chelsea with her favorite little nephew!

What do you think? Did she like it?

Also, here's us in front of our small tree. I love this Christmas. So much fun.

Also, here's some pictures of my nativity set that I love. My cousin Nicole posted some pictures of hers, and I thought it was such and good idea. After all, this is the true meaning of Christmas. It was made in Bethlehem out of Olive wood, I think it is sooo pretty. Here are a few misc. pictures that I thought were cute. Enjoy!!!

Nolan in his new hat and gloves. Isn't he the cutest thing?!?!

Here's Nolan hangin' out in his Santa hat!!!

6 Months and Growing

Nolan is growing bigger everyday. He is such a sweet and playful baby. I know I'm the luckiest Mom in the world. he is talking (gibberish of course) more and more everyday. He is excellent at rolling in every direction possible, and he does a fair job at sitting. He only looses his balance every now and again and finds hims self on his back. He has also started moving onto his stomach from a sitting position now too. I know I have to watch out for this cute kiddo!

Nolan just turned 6 months old last Tuesday when Boise State played in the Poinsettia Bowl (and sadly lost as well). Here he is wearing his team colors and cheering for his team. Enjoy!!!
Nolan loves his friend Buster Bronco!!!

Halloween (You Gotta Love It!!!)

I love Halloween! I love dressing up and I love the season and weather (usually). I love fall. I love the colors. I think this marks the beginning of the holiday season! I love it all!
Anyhow, here are some pictures of my super cute son. He was a lobster!!!
This last picture is of Nolan with his Nana (Nick's Mom). She invited us to her work Halloween party, and it was a lot of fun. They decorated the whole place, and they even put dry ice in the fountain! I should have taken a picture, but I wasn't thinking obviously! I was fun, and Nick got lots of candy and toys!!! I dressed up a little, but I had to go to work right afterward, so it couldn't be anything too crazy. I settled for a black cat or even better a black panther! Anyhow, I love Halloween!

Nolan's Professional Pictures

So here are Nolan's professional pictures we had done when he was about 3 weeks old. I love them! My cousin Ginger did them for us. Her information is down below if any of you want to use her services. I hope you all enjoy, and let me know what you think!

I Walked on Fire (And I Didn't Get Burned!)

So last Saturday, I went to a fire walking class. It was amazing! This class took anywhere from 3-4 hours. The class was mostly about us training our minds and brains to believe we can do anything. They began by teaching us how to walk on fire by training our minds to believe we could do it. First, they made us sign a waver that said they were not responsible for any burns or damage we may get from doing this. I don't think this made anyone feel too great. Then they immediately went to breaking boards. This was so awesome. My sister Becky went up right away, and she did it with no problems. I was amazed. She is amazing.
Right about this time, Nolan was ready to go down for the night, so I missed a lot of the class. This made me a little nervous, but I decided that no matter what, I would make this work. I did make it work. As soon as Nolan went down, I went back to the class, and I soaked in as much as I could. while I was gone, they began a big bonfire in the back yard. The fire has to burn for about 2-3 hours for the coals to be the right temperature and consistency. Before I knew it, we were ready to walk on fire.
Well, once the instructor walked across the fire, everyone else began to as well. My mom was one of the first, and she walked across it while Nolan was zipped up in her jacket!!! Nick went across as well. This surprised me a lot because he is sometimes a big skeptic and pessimist. Not only did he walk across once, he walked across three times!!! My brother Ken who is also a big skeptic (and very mad about missing the BSU game) walked across without any problems as well.
One person that I know of did get burned. My Aunt Theresa got burned, but her burns were also gone by the next morning. The instructor taught us how to heal our own burns using Traditional Chinese Medicine. My aunt did this for an hour before going to bed, and she woke up with absolutely non burns. It's amazing what our bodies can do!
So this is what I took from this class...
THE IMPOSSIBLE IS POSSIBLE!
I WALKED ON FIRE AND DIDN'T GET BURNED!
I CAN DO ANYTHING I CHOOSE!
I wish I had pictures to show you all, but we all had camera problems. What a bummer!!!

It's Been a while, and We're all Still Here!

Well, I have been a slacker, and I have had many people tell me so. Sorry!

Nolan is getting bigger and bigger everyday. When he was 2 months and 19 days old, he weighed in at 15lbs. and 2 ozs. He is in the 95% for weight, and he's still only getting breast milk. The pediatrician said that I must have some extra creamy milk. I'm sure this is a good thing.

Nolan is getting very good with his hands now, and he tries to do crunches when I'm changing his diaper. It's like he just wants to sit up and give me a kiss. It's very cute. He also smiles a lot, and he will laugh out loud now too. It is so cute. I love it! He really is a very good baby.

Also, his eyes are still a bluish gray color. I don't think they're going to change. I'm glad. I like mybrown eyes, but blue eyes just so pretty.

So, here are some more pictures of the little guy. Enjoy!!!

This is the littlest Boise State Fan. He is 2 months and 1 weeks in this picture. I love it. So far Boise State is doing really good again this season. I think we will make it to another BCS bowl. Yeah!!!

This is my little man at 10 weeks. I love dressing him up in cute things.

This is Nolan at 11 weeks. He is always so happy for me. I love it. I think I've said that at least a million times already in this blog. Oh well!

This is the little man at 11 weeks with his cousin Brooklan. She just loves him. She is soo cute with him too. She like to give him kisses and then run away. It is too cute!!! Too bad Nolan doesn't enjoy her as much as she enjoys him.

This is Nolan at 12 weeks with his 2nd cousin Kassia. She is a very good helper. She has a little brother that is just 5-6 weeks younger than Nolan.

Here's the cutie at 13 weeks. Right about this time, he became curious about the camera, so when he's sees it come out, he stops smiling. It's much harder to get a smile now. I wonder what he thinks when he sees the camera....

Nolan's 3 months old in this picture. I love the little Lion. This is outfit is curtisy of my wonderful sister Elisa and her great family. Thanks you guys!!!

Here Nolan is at 14 weeks. He's playing at his little floor mat. He gets better and better at this every day.

Fianlly, here he is at 15 weeks!!! he is sitting up and even standing with support so well. He is in his little jumper here, and he loves it. Mommy loves it too so that she can get more work done around the house. This is hard to do because I have gone back to work, and I just want to spend all my free time with Nolan and Nick. What can you do?

This last picture is of Nolan sleeping in his swing. I couldn't help it. He was just so peaceful looking.

What a Difference Two Months Make

Well, he's growing, and growing fast. Too fast for me. He will be 10 weeks old tomorrow. He smiles all the time, and I love that. I swear the other day he said Mommy too. He was really mad while I was changing his diaper, and I heard him say mommy. Nick was in the kitchen, and he walked out and asked me if I heard it too, and of course I had. I know it is a coincidence, but it was so crazy. Before you know it, he's going to graduate from high school and leave me. Not fair. Anyhow, here are some comparison pictures for you all to see. Half of these were taken when Nolan was just born or within just a week or two, and the rest were taken within this last week or two here.

The first picture here is the day we brought Nolan home from the hospital. We got him some special take home clothes (they said they were newborn, but I don't believe it.) the second picture shows him last Saturday at two months old in his take home clothes. He still has some room to grow here too. Isn't he cute?!

I the first picture above, Nolan is less than 1 week old. We gave him his first sponge bath, and no I didn't use the Lysol wipe that were in the picture. It's funny they're in the picture though. In the second picture, Nolan is 9 weeks old.

This is Nolan at two weeks old. It was his first official bath.

The second picture here shows Nolan at 9 weeks. I took it just this week.

So here Nolan is about a week and half, and then again the second picture show Nolan at about 9 weeks.
He really is growing, huh? Let me know what you all think. I love y'all.
