Lots of New/Old Pictures!

I know I've been a slacker with my blogging, so I'm going to try to catch up!

This is Nolan at 7 months. I love that he smiles so well for me and is so happy.

This is Nolan with his cute bed head. I couldn't resist. He was a little older than 7 months in this picture!

Another thing Nolan loves is his baths/showers! He could play forever! I took some pictures of the boys taking their shower, but Nick doesn't think they are appropriate to post. Maybe he's right. Here are a few of Nolan by himself then!

I put Nolan in his little bath, but I think he grew out of it...

He thought this was rather fun, so I took a picture.

The next bath, I just put him in the water, and he loved it! He's going to be a water baby. I'll have to teach him how to swim now. Can't wait to go swimming with him this summer!

Here he is in his monkey towel. Can't tell really well, but it is cute!

It has been nice outside off and on for the last few weeks, and it's nice to see the sun. Nolan loves it. We go for lots of walks, and we've even started going to the park to swing. Nolan loves it! I love it too. It's so great to be out side and breathe in the fresh air (even if it is still a bit cold and windy outside).

One day we just got bored, so we decide to go for a winter walk. He loved it. Who cares if it's cold out!

Swinging is good...

Swinging is great...

I love to swing!

Nolan has been so close to crawling these past few weeks. He's pretty much been able to crawl on the carpet, but when he gets on our hardwood floor, he just slips around. For a while, when he was on the hardwood, he would push himself backwards and turn his head to see where he was going. It was quite funny to say the least. Wish you all could have seen it. I can now say he's officially crawling even on the hardwood. He gets so excited. Now he'll crawl over to me and reach up for me to hold him. I'm sure glad he likes me! He has almost pulled himself up doing this as well.

Happy Nolan pretty much crawling...

Look at this mess! I can still crawl in it though!

I don't know if you can tell from the pictures, but Nolan's hair is getting very long ( and it seems to be a beautiful strawberry blonde too!). I love it. I know I should probably give him a haircut, but that is just not something I want to do right away! I still want him to be my little baby. Maybe soon though. We'll have to see.

Anyhow, I haven't been able to take Taylor and Bella to fly a kite yet. Every time I have them, it is not very nice outside. Too bad because I know the would love it! Maybe this next Thursday. I can't wait now!

He's really starting to show his personality now, and I love it. He is such a happy baby for the most part. I'm very lucky I guess. Watch this video to see some happy times with his Nana! I just get a big smile every time.

Nolan will be 9 months tomorrow, so I'll take some more pictures and post them then. Just a couple more months and he'll be a year old!!! I guess I should start planning his party right now!

I'm a Slacker ( and I know it!)

So, it's been forever since my last post. I don't know why. I have been busy, and it seems like I'm always running around like crazy!

Nolan is doing great. He's growing like a weed. He is pretty much crawling. He just doesn't go very far at one time. This is good for me know. He has started to get into a lot, and I really have to keep an eye on him. I love it though. He's really a great, content baby. I'm very blessed!

Nick is going to school full time here again. He is enrolled at an online school, so that gives him a bit more freedom to work full-time and watch Nolan in the evenings when I'm working. He is very motivated right now. I love it. On the other hand, he is always doing his homework, and I feel like I hardly see him anymore. He doesn't have a lot of time to help me around the house either. I guess this is all part of being in school again though.

This month my sister Elisa and her beautiful little girls are in town. I'm so excited! This means we get to hang out a lot, and I get to watch the girls on Thursdays. I hope the weather is nice tomorrow. I saw some people flying kite at the park a few days ago, and I want to fly my kite with them tomorrow. I bought it a couple of years ago on my vacation to the coast, and I only use it when we go back to the coast (which in maybe once a year). It'll be lots of fun. I'll have to take my camera!

Nolan is liking the outside a lot lately. We go for walks a lot, and he loves it. We usually make it to the park, play on the swing for a bit, and then make our way home. I love it! This summer is going to be so much fun with him. He is really enjoying his baths and showers lately too. We'll have to swim a lot this summer. I can't wait!

Anyhow, I'm going to be better about blogging. I will have to write again very soon! Maybe tomorrow after the girls come over.
