Why I don't have any more cute pictures of us in July, I don't know, but I will have to work on taking the camera with us more often.
July was very fun all things considered. Nolan stayed very active. He loves the library and story time. He loves the park, and he loves being outside. Being outside in the water is even better! Coloring and blowing bubbles is a good source of amusement as well.
Anyhow, On the weekend of the 4th, we went to Papa and Grandma Leeny's (my parents). Nolan has loved being there lately. When we got there, we played in the sprinklers with the cousins, jumped on the trampoline, and sat on and admired the tractors. (If it has wheels and goes somewhere, Nolan loves it.)
Afterward, we had some dinner (BBQ) with the rest of the family, and then the kiddos took a bath. Here are Rylee, Nolan, and Brooklan enjoying their time in the water. Grandma Leeny let us all get in her big tub and have a blast. It's fun to take a bath by yourself with toys, but it's even better taking a bath with the cousins, and you don't really need any toys for this!

You know the funny thing about the 4th this year is we didn't see any fireworks! We heard them all over the neighborhood, but we all went to bed too early to really see any. I must be getting old!
Nolan has really enjoyed having his cousin Layla over. She is getting so big now, and she can really play and interact with him much more. Sometimes just hearing Nolan laugh will make Layla's day. Here she is making a mess with her jam.
Nolan is pretty much eating everything by himself now. He doesn't like us to help out too much. He doesn't even like to get his hands dirty. He has to have a washcloth near by to wipe them often. I just think that is too funny!
Nolan is really quite a great kid. The whole month he has been helping me to water the garden, pick tomatoes (we have so many cherry tomatoes), and spray me down when I'm hot. (He will actually just spray me down whether I'm hot or not!) I love that he's just got so much personality.
Nolan continually surprises me with funny phrases and just blurting things out I had no idea he even could say or do. He repeats whole sentences now and he can really give you a good chewing out if you need one. We sure do love him and his little antics!
