The Darrough Family: My 10 Year High School Reunion!

So after much brooding and pondering, I decided to go to my 10 yr high school reunion. I never imagined I ever would as I didn't enjoy high school that much. I think this was because I moved in the middle of high school, and I never quite felt at home and never made any really good friends. I'm glad I went though. If for no other reason but to see what people were like 10 years down the line. I'm very much a people watcher, and I enjoyed every minute of my watching. I have decided that people don't change too much in the 10 years after they finish high school. Interpret this as you will. It can be both a good thing and a bad thing.
The first part I went to was the family picnic, and that was fun. Nick was unable to go with me as he had to work that day. It was nice to see that when I walked out there I was immediately welcomed by Matt Ogawa. He even gave me a big hug. It was really nice actually. Many others came up to me to ask if I needed help. My arms were full with Nolan, diaper bags, and food, so this was very nice. I visited with many people including Conrad and family (pictured below with baby son), Melissa and Cody Montgomery, Sara Olson Bradbury, Krystal Luke, Mindy Cornett, Gina Bell, Seth Olsen and family, Jake Atkinson and family, and many others. It was fun to see where everyone was at in their lives.
I did forget to take pictures, so I found a picture of me in some pictures from somebody else. Below in this picture, you can see me in the back ground with Matt and Nolan. I think the real picture was supposed to be of Conrad, his baby, and Mrs. Trenkle. Oh, Mrs. Trenkle was so sweet. I'm sure she didn't remember me, but she did some sit and chat while the babies just stared at each other. I think that must be why her son is so great. Vance gave me a hug at the picnic too. I'm sure he didn't remember me either, but he was always so nice.

I blew the picture up a bit to make myself feel like it was really of me! Not too bad, eh?

Update: I just found another picture of me on the website! Here I am in the group picture! So excited! I like that the sky is so pretty and brilliantly Blue! I'm in the second row back. I 'm the last one on the left hand side! Hard to tell from this picture, eh?

Here's a few pictures I blew up for your (and my) enjoyment! I know most of the people in this picture just below. Just to the right of me is Krystal Luke (now has a different last name), I think in front of me are Kristin Wheeler, and Jeanine Little Sivers (really not sure about those two). Behind me are Melissa Hansen-Montgomery, Conrad Kennington, Jacob Atkins, Vance Trinkle, and Seth Olsen.

I could hardly point most of the people out here in recognition. Hard to tell.

Later that night, Nick and I went to a dinner. It was pretty nice. We sat at a table with Lance Frye, Conrad and wife (they live in Kuna, so the spoke to Nick a lot about the Zamzow's there, and Conrad's wife even recognized Nick!), and Kristin Palmer and husband. It was fun to just chat with everyone. There was a presentation with talks form old teachers, honoring service men, giving scholarships, awarding prizes (people with the most children, person who traveled the farthest distance, etc.), and a slide show. It was fun. After that, we were just to sit and mingle. Nick and I aren't much for mingling (especially Nick in a room full of strangers), so we left quite early. Before I did that, I took a picture with Melissa and I. Not only did we go to high school together, but we both went to Ricks together. We even lived right next to each other there for two years. It was good to see her and catch up!
