He's usually just such a good kid for us. Always so good with the smiles. We are so luck to have this little man!
Nolan's Nana (Nick's Mom) sent him a fun little basket with cookies and balloons. Nolan didn't care much for the cookies, but the balloons were so much fun for him. He loved them. He just played with them all day. Thanks Nana!We had Nolan's Birthday party the next Saturday on the 27th. We decided to go to the park and grill some hamburgers and hotdogs for the occasion. This way we would have plenty of room for our very large family. Good call on our part, and the day was so nice for his party!
I made some monkey cakes for my little monkey. I think they turned out pretty well if I do say so myself. I made banana cake with chocolate frosting. So delicious. My cousin Brandi also made a fondant cake to practice for her wedding! It turned out great, and it was super yummy and moist. Mine was a little dry compared to hers :(.

Nolan swinging with his Nana!
Me and Nolan hanging out!
The cake after Nolan got to it! He didn't rip it apart as you would have thought. He kinda just poked at it for a while. He did finally rip an ear off, so that's good, right?
Nolan and Uncle Dougie! So sute!
Most of Nick's family and mine were there at the park to celebrate, so it was a very special day. We are so lucky to have such a great family. We are blessed!
