Easter 2011

Well, we started Easter the day before at Gramma Leeny's and Papa Mairs's house. We headed over there in the afternoon, and the first thing we did was the Easter egg hunt. Uncle Ryan had helped the Easter Bunny hide all the fun treats. It was funny most of the chocolate was melted, but no one seemed to mind. We got to hunt for eggs with Layla, Koen, and Brooklan. I think they had fun...
Nolan couldn't stay away from the trampoline even to search for eggs, so it was a good thing some eggs were on the trampoline. Thanks Uncle Rob!
Here we have all the kiddos! Nolan, Layla, Brooklan, and Koen. I think they all got tons of fun goodies! Here the parents are with all the kiddos now. I found it quite hard to get all the kids and adults to smile at the camera all at once...

Next, we had brunch. It was a tradition in my mom's family to have yummy brunch for all friends and family that lasted a good part of the day. It is a good idea, so here we see Nolan scarfing the eggs and orange rolls. Yum-o!
We all stayed the night, and we went to church with Gramma Leeny and Papa on Sunday morning. it was very nice. We had to hurry away after that to see Nick's side of the family.

It is always fun to see Meme and Papa ( Nick's Grandparents). They always have delicious food and we can also see Kaden. Kaden is Nolan's 2nd cousin. He is a good kid and Nolan loves to play and hang out with him.

We had another fun Easter egg hunt for Kaden and Nolan here. There was lots to be found for all! After a little while, it's hard to keep the kids going. Enjoy the pictures.

Allie was so great with Nolan the whole time. She helped him find many eggs and hidden treasures, and she also played with Nolan and Kaden the majority of the day. Nolan loved her. I'm so glad we have such great family.

Our little bun in the oven even got a very cute outfit. So happy everyone is excited for our growing family! We are also so excited for Katie and Brian's little girl. She is due about a month after us! Congrats! So sad they are moving aways though. Nolan will be bummed that his cousin Kaden will no longer be close at hand for all the family events.
