May just flew by so fast! Thank goodness, and at the same time, it needs to slow down a bit. I just told Nolan that he needs to stay little for a bit longer. He told me no. "I'm going to get big like Koen and Brooklan." Well, I guess he has the final word...

We did lots of fun things this month. One of the things that I enjoyed the most was going to "Wicked". Mom got it for me as an early birthday present. I loved it! We went on Cinco De Mayo, and it was a bit hectic, but I would do it all again. The music, the characters, and the atmosphere was just so fun. Nick wasn't able to go with me, so I had my friend Laurie come with me since it was her birthday!

For Mother's Day, Nick did a couple different things. He always cleans the house for me. He has planted the garden the last few years, and he got me "Glee" season one! Yay! sounds silly but I love watching it and listening to all the music. Oh, he also got us the last "Narnia" movie. Very fun!

He also took me out for a movie the day before, and while we were out, Nolan and Nana made me a card. Here it is in all its glory. Good job Nolan!

Some other fun things we have been doing...

Playing at Monkey business with Krista and Layla...
Nolan was even brave enough to go down the big, big slide this time! A few months ago he wouldn't have done this, but maybe he didn't want to be shown up by Layla. Who knows?

He also went up into the big play area without me (but with a little help from Krista and Layla). I can't believe he's so brave now and growing so big...

We bribed Nolan to get his hair cut, and in return Nolan picked out some Light Sabres to play with daddy! He loves them, and he beats his dad up constantly with them...

We broke the crib down to a toddler bed. ( I know a bit late, but it was so nice not to have to worry about Nolan getting out of bed.) Nolan is very good about staying in his bed, so it has been very nice. He loves it, but I think he will like his new big boy bed even better when we get it!
My friends from work had a lunch for me and gave me a gift card for the baby. I forgot to get a picture before everyone left, so here I am with Suzie and Dianne only. They fed me Thai food, so I was a happy camper.

Nolan has also been a great help with chores. Sometimes he will randomly find trash and he will rush to throw it away. I found him randomly pulling weeds in the flower beds, and he loves to help me water. Another cute thing he does is find all his matching shoes and lines them up in front of the fire place. I hope this all will stick with him...(Just thought I would end with a picture of the boys hanging out in their jammies and enjoying each other's company! They're so cute!)
